The collection contains books mainly on Polish and general history, archival studies and auxiliary historical sciences. The most important works, Polish and foreign, deal with the history of Pomerania and Poland's relations with the countries of Northern Europe and Germany over the centuries. The total number of books in the library is 55,000.
Research Laboratories and Equipment
The Institute has copying facilities, an audio-visual lecture hall and a number of personal computers.
